Smiles Joy and Babies

How powerful is a smile, something so simple that gives so much. How weird is it that in our culture something as simple as showing someone your teeth can give them such a good feeling. Something that animals see as a threat we see as something that lowers barriers, reduces threat, and can totally change your perspective of a person.

A smile can take even the worst of enemies and completely change their feelings about one another, a sarcastic smile can do quite the opposite. a smile that is misread can take friends, and make them into enemies.

This crossed my mind earlier when i was getting my nails done. The son of the man doing my nails was standing next to me staring into the mirror, and me being me, I was watching him in the mirror, i saw him shift his glance to me and he continued to look at me, i looked to my left at him and smiled, he grinned the biggest grin i have ever seen and giggled and ran to his mom, hugged her and continued to smile. a smile shared creates a bond, joy among people.

So no there were no babies in my post, i just really enjoy them =0) they're cute and precious.

I also got a smile from a little girl that came in with my boss' son with the babysitter..she was probably 1 but i guess we can say she is a baby.. there there is your baby for my three readers, if you are one of those people that really likes for the title to match the blog.

I know it is a short one but i have to go pack for F.L.O.     R.I.D.A.     Yeah flo rida was intentional!

we will see how much more packing i get done, although..i can pack more than a carryon now because i got off for monday!! EEP!!!

What happened? You Good?

It has been months since I last blogged and SO much has happened. Lets just dive in and see what happens… So hop on the plane and hold on tight because there is a lot to discuss. Im going to start on kind of a weird note because that way I figure ill end on a happy note rather than a bitter one. So an ex of mine recently entered into a new relationship. I never talk to him and don't follow him on any social media so how did I find out? I wandered over to his IG and he has done nothing lately other than post pictures of her with #WCW...so why do I care? I know he is the kind of guy who could be eternally single and be happy, and that is a big part of why he and I would have never worked out. So why do I care? Do I still want him? No. I don't. Different life

Here I am in Vegas. Things are so different here. I'm so grateful to have a career but at the same time I'm so far from everyone I love. That makes things so difficult. I'm trying so hard to meet people and build a community here in Vegas. But it is hard when the life I have been called to live looks so different from the lives of so many here. I'm looking for relationships that will point me to the throne of God. That is something I have taken for granted for the last 25 years. Everyone I have been close  friends with loved Jesus too and that is what brought us close.
