waiting waiting waitin.

just a short post. I am tired of waiting. as much as God is saying wait be patient. I'm tired of waiting. I have been patient for 3 years. 3 years of watching my friends get married 3 years of watching people get engaged 3 years of me not being on a single date. not that I haven't been asked the guys that ask just aren't what I am looking for and so in order to not lead them on I respectfully decline. but 3 years of not being on a single date makes me wonder if telling God I want to marry the next guy I date was a mistake....

What happened? You Good?

It has been months since I last blogged and SO much has happened. Lets just dive in and see what happens… So hop on the plane and hold on tight because there is a lot to discuss. Im going to start on kind of a weird note because that way I figure ill end on a happy note rather than a bitter one. So an ex of mine recently entered into a new relationship. I never talk to him and don't follow him on any social media so how did I find out? I wandered over to his IG and he has done nothing lately other than post pictures of her with #WCW...so why do I care? I know he is the kind of guy who could be eternally single and be happy, and that is a big part of why he and I would have never worked out. So why do I care? Do I still want him? No. I don't. Different life

Here I am in Vegas. Things are so different here. I'm so grateful to have a career but at the same time I'm so far from everyone I love. That makes things so difficult. I'm trying so hard to meet people and build a community here in Vegas. But it is hard when the life I have been called to live looks so different from the lives of so many here. I'm looking for relationships that will point me to the throne of God. That is something I have taken for granted for the last 25 years. Everyone I have been close  friends with loved Jesus too and that is what brought us close. It is hard to build close relationships with people who don't share the love of God that is so important to me. But now I go to sleep. Work comes early in the morning.  Love you all.  Linds
