what now?

Well, i have finally applied for 4 internships for the summer. But i have heard back from two, denying me entry into their program...so i wait. For the hospitals in Little Rock and in Orange, California to call me and tell me they might want me. But until then, I am studying for the PRAXIS!!

 I cannot believe this is where i am in my life, i have a degree that i cant really use yet and i am not able to do what i really want to do without an internship but i dont have another option if i cant ever get an internship. SO, Here i am studying for praxis 2 "Elementary Education Content Knowledge"

Im quickly being reminded through all of this that i am not in control, but my Father in Heaven is! Trusting Him is NOT easy to do, but once he puts you in a situation in which you absolutely cannot control anything it makes it a lot easier. I am done worrying about what is next i am just ready! Ready for the next chapter to begin, i am starting to feel like I am constantly reading the last page of this chapter repeatedly. I am ready for something new, i am ready for independence, I am trying to be patient but I want to be used. I want to make an impact on children's lives, and i want to make a difference. I am happy where i am but i am also getting very anxious to do something new.

God grant me patience, which you are constantly trying to teach me.

Short and sweet but thats where i am :)

What happened? You Good?

It has been months since I last blogged and SO much has happened. Lets just dive in and see what happens… So hop on the plane and hold on tight because there is a lot to discuss. Im going to start on kind of a weird note because that way I figure ill end on a happy note rather than a bitter one. So an ex of mine recently entered into a new relationship. I never talk to him and don't follow him on any social media so how did I find out? I wandered over to his IG and he has done nothing lately other than post pictures of her with #WCW...so why do I care? I know he is the kind of guy who could be eternally single and be happy, and that is a big part of why he and I would have never worked out. So why do I care? Do I still want him? No. I don't. Different life

Here I am in Vegas. Things are so different here. I'm so grateful to have a career but at the same time I'm so far from everyone I love. That makes things so difficult. I'm trying so hard to meet people and build a community here in Vegas. But it is hard when the life I have been called to live looks so different from the lives of so many here. I'm looking for relationships that will point me to the throne of God. That is something I have taken for granted for the last 25 years. Everyone I have been close  friends with loved Jesus too and that is what brought us close.
